「Our cabin was in a great spot backed up against high ground in a nicely wooded area. It was secluded & very quiet. Firewood was provided. Close proximity to hiking & Chester, CT with nice restaurants. The staff were proactive & very thoughtful.」
「The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The house was beautiful and the grounds full of things to explore. The breakfast was presently with panache and tasted great. We swam in the pool, ate at local restaurants, pet a turkey, and visited the local winery. I would highly recommend this establishment.

「I think this was an old lake resort. The exterior is in disrepair, the pool is out of commission, and the decore is dated to the point of quirky. But, the staff is friendly, the room was immaculate, and it has an overall charm that we thoroughly enjoyed. My only recommendation would be for more pillows... there aren't enough on the bed to prop yourself up to watch TV.」
