The STUDIO by Brandt is located at the heart of historic Downtown Northville.

Welcome to The STUDIO located on the 3rd floor of the historic Northville Records Building. This location is ideal: quietly and secretly situated at the center of historic Downtown Northville. The building is at the northwest corner of Main and Center Streets. The building once housed the Northville Records which was the areas source for news and advertising. Today, the building has a few commercial tenants including Brandt Real Estate. The studio apartment was completely updated a few years ago making it more functional with full bathroom, complete kitchen and laundry facilities, and independent comfort control inside the studio. We went with a rustic modern style, opened the space, added skylights and other enhancements. This STUDIO apartment is the only residential space in the building, making it quite unique and more peaceful especially during evening and nighttime hours.

The studio home on Main Street in Northville was the perfect location and accommodations. We were right where we needed to be for easy access to all Downtown Northville had to offer!

Great location, not two bedrooms

This is a wonderful studio in downtown Northville. You can walk to pretty much any kind of restaurant that you want. There are galleries and a lovely little wine store around the corner. The property is properly advertised as a studio. However, I had searched with the filter for two bedrooms, and I didn’t fully realize that there would not be two private spaces. This is to say that this is a perfect location for a small family or a couple. However, if you hope to have a little bit of privacy and there’s more than two of you, it’s a little tight.Aside from that, the property was well equipped and completely adorable.

Perfect Location, But Scary Stairs

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PERSONS 60+ YEARS OLD - 2 FLIGHTS OF VERY STEEP AND NARROW STAIRS PLUS BED ON FLOOR. This is a lovely apartment in downtown Northville - you couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s spacious, clean and had everything we needed. I would stay here again and again if it weren’t for the stairs 😞.

We were expecting a 2 bedroom condo with a merphy bed and a queen. That was what was advertised. What we got was a one room studio apartment with one Murphy bed and no second bed. The owner told us that he would bring over an air mattress and have it ready to go by the time we got back when my show was over, which was 8:00P. He didn’t show up with the mattress until 9:45PM.He blamed VRBO for the false advertising and said that we would get a full refund. I am 74 years old and after standing all day, and moving furniture around I was very uncomfortable on an air mattress that was hard and made loud noises every time I moved. There were NO bedrooms! Just a mattress on the floor. If you can help me in anyway to get a full refund I would appreciate it. I realize that this is in no way your fault. The owner is at fault for false advertising. Thank you for any help you can give me.

I loved this top floor studio nestled in the heart of charming downtown Northville. In town for several nights to perform at the local theatre, this find was truly a gem. The space is beautifully designed with stylish decor, abundant natural light and thoughtful touches that made it feel arty and fun. Staying in the peak of summer, the AC kept the unit cool for great sleep, much appreciated. Lisa is a wonderful host, accommodating and thoughtful. Other reviews mention steep stairs and bed confusion. Two flights of stairs, yes, but not a challenge for us. The single bed is a full sized Murphy bed, softer mattress. Tip! It's under a skylight, so bring a sleep mask if you plan on sleeping in. There is a blow up mattress as well. I slept well, zero street noise.Ate at several amazing restaurants, make sure to try Rebecca's (lunch) and The Exchange (open late). Don't skip the Old Mill Park. And of course, do explore the amazing Tipping Point Theatre.

Clean. Comfortable. Stylish and relaxing.My husband and I lost our beloved pup 4 days prior to out trip- we had planned to stay w/him- We thought about canceling but are super glad we did not. The loft provided peace we didnt expect. The first night We forgot to register our vehicle for the overnight parking and the hosts were so accomodating that they got the ticket we got cleared w the local police. We have local friends in northville we were visiting- so we will absolutely be back- again and again.

Perfect location but you need to be fit.

The location of the studio is perfect! It is in the heart of the most charming city of Northville. On street parking was consistently available too. There are two steep but carpeted sets of stairs that are strenuous. The Murphy bed is comfy but sits on the floor. There is an air mattress available too but it is very firm. This is a spacious apartment and the appliances are top rate. Comfy couch and a great TV set up. We enjoyed our stay.

Adorable Loft

Fun space with everything you need, the location is perfect, walking distance to great restaurants, entertainment and shopping. After a number of flight delays and an early morning arrival, we were very happy to find the Murphy bed made up and the studio was very inviting. I will echo a couple of the other guests, the steps up to the unit are steep, and getting suitcases up was a challenge, but I’d stay again! Thanks!

Excellent Location, Nice Touches

Nicely appointed 3rd floor apartment with plenty of light on two sides, excellent location right on Northville's main street, in a charming old building with authentic classic design. Modern and generously equipped kitchen, all new appliances (bathroom too), and full laundry makes it a place you can live in for along stay, very easily. Well thought out decorations, too. Note the bed is a fold-down style, so is lower to the floor than most, and it's parallel to a wall, so for two people, the person on the wall-side of the bed would have to climb over the person further from the wall, or have them get out of bed first.

Charming Loft!

Very charming 3rd floor loft in the heart of downtown Northville, they did a great job keeping a lot of it's historic features while cleaning it up to be modern. The first set of stairs were pretty steep almost like ladder, not at all a problem for us, but could be for some. Coming from a king the bed was small but was a comfy memory foam mattress. I would absolutely stay again!

As the title states, the location is amazing. Right in downtown Northville within a quarter block from dining, bars, and shopping. Any time I visit the Detroit Metro area this will be the first option I will look up for a stay.

Excellent location, lots of character and charm

A recurring work trip for me, but first time in this location. While there's steep steps to get to the 3rd floor loft - this means no neighbors above or next to you! Wonderfully equipped modern kitchen and super tidy modern bathroom. I like to sleep with white noise so the HVAC fan was a welcome sound. Never tried the TV but seems ample entertainment tech for those who desire it. Will plan to stay again!

I lived not far from downtown Northville for 40 years so it was nice to find this gem of a place right in downtown Northville for our visit! We loved the decorating and it was very clean and fully stocked with everything you need. The 2 flights of stairs are a bit of a challenge especially if you have a lot of luggage. We would definitely stay here again.
