「Clean room, comfortable bed and friendly staff. But no elevator. Hence the 4 rating. Would stay here again, but on the first floor.」

「The Mead had long been the gold standard hotel in Wisconsin Rapids. It appears that many improvements are being made since we stayed in July. Newly painted rooms, lighted mirrors and improvements to the outside of the property. Weeds and landscaping becoming a priority. We love the Mead in and long to see it get by live and attention it deserves.」

「Staff was vey nice and kind.Room was great, we slept well.」

「Breakfast was not very good. I took a picture of a bug that was crawling on my bed and showed the front desk when I checked out and all she said was on I’ll have housekeeping check it out.」

「It was quiet, clean and comfortable」

「The scrambled eggs and omelettes are made from disgusting fake egg mix and not how they used to be made. Should be changed back to real eggs. The eggs and omelettes are the main reason I like to stay at the Hampton Inn when I travel.」

「Dated. Small bathroom. Dated shower over tub. They charged for breakfast which is unacceptable especially considering food was nothing special.」

「Breakfast was phenomenal!! So many protein choices and fresh fruit!! This buffet was one of the best I’ve seen in this price range of hotels! I was disappointed in communications with desk staff and problems with the TV. Since I couldn’t communicate with the staff, I wasn’t able to call for help.」

「Budget friendly」

「This is an older building, keys not keycards. It had a full size kitchenette refrigerator/ freezer, microwave, sink and booth table in a room separate from beds. ( I think it had a stove as well) Beds were on the soft side. Tv was smaller. Single floor, no stairs, park directly outside your room. It’s not Four Seasons but it’s clean, convenient, close to Kwik Trip and cheap. We just needed a place to clean up and sleep before an early morning race and this filled our needs nicely.」

「Room floor was very dirty, turning the bottoms of my feet black with only minutes of walking in the room. Bathroom had no fan and was very rusty. The whole room had an awful smell from something cooked in the room previously. Could hear guests in other rooms very easily, AC unit let in water when raining.」

「5 stars isn't enough! Absolutely amazing stay!This private house is stunning, spacious, and immaculately clean with top-notch furnishings. Beds and pillows are very comfortable.Kitchen has everything needed.Location is amazing, woods, lake view , private dock .Kayaks, lilly pad, fishing, swimming... its real ultimate nature escape. And the owners are super friendly and responsive.Would definitely recommend to friends and family!Thanks Chris and Kelly for an amazing stay! We can't wait to be...
