"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The property was even better than we expected—peaceful, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and in a perfect location. The lake views were breathtaking, and we loved being able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.The house had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and it was clear that the hosts put a lot of thought and care into making their guests feel welcome. Everything was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing.We truly enjoyed our time here and didn’t want to leave! It was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and spend quality time together. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful and peaceful lake getaway.Thank you to the wonderful hosts for sharing this special place with us! Luxury Woodland Retreat Near Castle Rock Lake, jacuzzi, private pool

"The Luxury Woodland Retreat near Necedah was a last minute booking for my wife’s birthday weekend. Our family of four enjoyed the amenities including the pool, jacuzzi, and bar area, and surround system for music. The space was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Bedrooms were all very comfortable and well appointed with pillows and blankets. We even took advantage of the fire pit after buying some firewood locally. The contemporary design of the space was very appealing, including the thought put into the architectural lighting accents (I’m an architect, so I enjoyed the thoughtful touches). The space was warm and inviting, however, my wife noted a little artwork and some additional bedside tables and lamps in the master would make it even more so.We did struggle with the three different coffee makers, only getting the Keurig to work. The drip coffee maker doesn’t seem to function; maybe some instruction on the other one would be helpful.It was August during our stay and we took full advantage of the outdoor pool area. There were some issues with wasps nests in the eaves/soffit areas that probably need to be addressed. Luckily no one was stung but they were a bit annoying, and may be a concern for future guests this summer.Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed the chance to check out the area. If you stay here, we would highly recommend the 30 min drive to check out the Ishnala Supper Club in Lake Delton (WI Dells area)."

"House was very clean and well stocked. Property manager and owner were very responsive and got the air conditioning fixed in a few hours on one of the hottest days we’ve had so far. Rented the pontoon too and enjoyed that experience. Going to a swimming spot out on the lake and jumping in was a blast for all! Only minus is that we couldn’t swim right at the property even though it was lake front due to the muck. My tiny yorkie loved the giant dog beds!"
