「I stayed at this pub hotel in Adelaide in February 2026 and unfortunately it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. The room itself was an odd shape, which made it very impractical. Cupboards and drawers were essentially unusable because they were blocked by the bed, and the furnishings felt tired and outdated. The view didn’t help either — just the roof of the pub covered in air conditioning units — and there was constant noise from the hotel music, which made it hard to properly...

「Communication at check-in was disappointing. The staff member spoke to me without properly explaining the property layout or showing where my room was located. There is rarely anyone at reception — it was completely closed at 1 pm. I tried calling the number listed on the front door, but no one answered at first. When I eventually got through, I mentioned that there was no cutlery in the room. I was told they don’t provide cutlery for short stays, which is absurd — I’ve never stayed anywhere...
