"We spent two wonderful weeks in this holiday home in July 2024. It is located quite far up in the mountains, but there are a few direct neighbors. The next town with a small supermarket and bar (Castel Rigone, very charming) is a 12-minute drive away. There is also a nice outdoor swimming pool nearby. "This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night."
