「A great place to stay!」

「Very helpful host! Great location.」

「Cheryl’s place is a lovely cottage near the lake. We loved everything they did to make our stay more enjoyable, from many pairs of water shoes (definitely helpful for swimming!) to folding chairs, floats, and many different coffee-making options. We also loved the wind chimes and napping bed on the screened-in porch.The swimming was good, although it’s a busy lake with many motor boats. We had some long swims and the water was warm / comfortable. It’s best to swim near shore to avoid the boats....

「My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the 1805 House B&B. The four-poster king-sized bed was very comfortable, the large tub in the bathroom was a delight, and breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The hosts made check in and check out very easy. We were in the area for a jazz festival and to visit a friend. This was a lovely country stay for the weekend. 」

「The house was charming. Everything is clean and updated. Everything from the bedding, to the pots, pans, dishes, and towels were of very nice quality. As cold as it was, the walks by the lake were beautiful and peaceful and the firepit was a great way to end the cold winter days. Leticia was always helpful. She thought of everything, so we really didnt need much! 」

「The pictures didn’t do this place justice — it’s even more beautiful in person! The fall views over the orchard were stunning and we loved watching deer wander by in the early morning and at dusk. The rooms were perfectly sized, the kitchen was perfectly stocked and there were tons of games and movies for the kids. The host was incredible and gave us great local recommendations for things to do and places to eat. A perfect, quiet fall getaway — we can’t wait to return!」

「We really enjoyed staying at postcard, room were clean and everything was so organized and clean. Really like we can cook our food. Only thing is it will be great if you can put small mirror in the bathroom or room.」

「My only criticism is that I could hear conversations and a howling dog through the wall of our room. We were in 403, next to a premium corner. Also—not all premium rooms (4) look directly to the river. We first had one that had a river view if you looked between two buildings. I requested a change and was given a lesser quality room, no tub or nicer seating area but a full view. I noticed on my final bill that no adjustment was made for the downgraded room. 「Stayed over one night with my husband on a Hudson Valley road trip and The Amelia was true to its 5 star reviews. Misty our hostess greeted us enthusiastically upon arrival with a great tour and useful info about the amenities and the surrounding area. All the common areas are beautifully appointed and truly comfortable. Also loved the fire pit with the Adirondack chairs and the lounges by the pool . Very peaceful and totally chill. 「The room was spacious and very clean, as was the bathroom. The room also had a large comfortable sofa. We were unaware that the room was in the basement level, so natural light was limited to large window wells. I would book upper level rooms next time. The staff was excellent; helpful and friendly. We had breakfast in the cafe which had a fairly small menu, but the food was fresh and very good.」
