「I am disappointed to share a negative review because there is so much potential for this accommodation which is nestled into a cute cove in Halfmoon Bay. There were three main concerns: 1. Poor Communication The host often took hours to reply, and at one point didn’t reply at all. This was incredibly frustrating when I informed him that the fire alarm was set off after attempting to preheat the oven and make a frozen pizza due to it being so dirty. 「This property had all you need for an overnight stay. It was not near a beach though and the property next door was logged leaving large old growth fir trees and stumps when looking out the window. Not a great view and you will need a car to get around. Never saw the owner but her dogs were outside so we couldn't put our dogs out as fencing is not adequate. For the price which is low for the island it was all you can ask for.」

「The property is located not too far of a drive to the places we had planned to visit within Vancouver (Vancouver Aquarium, Museum of Anthropology, Science World, VanDusen Botanical Garden, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Canada Place, Gastown, Stanley Park, Metropolis at Metrotown). It was also an easy drive to Whistler and White Rock, BC from the place. The property management was responsive when I asked questions during our stay. 「Really beautiful view. The property is accessed by a very steep driveway, with parking above on the main road. It would not work for persons with mobility issues. We however have none, and managed just fine. Owners were lovely and live on site upstairs.」

「This is a great spot! It is so surprising what is fit into a smaller space. The airfryer and induction element along with the toaster oven would allow you to cook a full roast chicken dinner with all the fixings. Lovely spot. Comfortable king bed. You can use the patio overlooking the ocean. Very quiet neighborhood. A small oceanside park foour minutes walk. Do check out the Rusty Rake for an exceptional dinner. Thanks Brad.」
