「We had a wonderful stay. My ONLY complaint was the night time desk woman was very rude, however the person I spoke to in the morning more than made for het rude coworker. The bed was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was well made and a decent selection. I greatly enjoyed having coffee available 24 hrs a day. We will definitely be back.」

「Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Website indicated indoor pool and outdoor pool. There is no indoor pool. A deep cleaning in the bathroom is required.」

「This is a one bedroom hotel type style listing. It has a large bed, couch bed, and nice bathroom. The owner is awesome, he responds immediately to any questions. Outdoor living, the patio is beautiful, the backyard is large and fenced in for pets. It has a boat dock and is an excellent place for fishing. Overall, we had a great experience. 」

「We had an incredible stay! The apartment is very comfortable, cozy, and quiet. The full kitchen with vintage styled (yet modern) appliances is a definite plus. We look forward to staying there the next time we are in Albemarle. LJ is an amazing host!! 」

「This truely is such a wonderful place. We were able to enjoy the serenity of the lake and had enough space for everyone. Our stay was on New Years but I can't wait to see it in summer. Water pressure is great, comfortable beds, and the kayaks are a great touch. I really appreciate it, thank you.」

「The structure is a modified shipping container, which folds out rather ingeniously to create a small but functional living space. The amenities fall a little short of what one might expect for a fully stocked lake house. However, it was clean, the AC cold and the shower hot so it fit our needs adequately.The host was available to answer questionsI might suggest curtains on the front glass wall for privacy in the bedroom.」

「Great house, close proximity to uwharrie OHV trails and the zoo. We were able to fit 3 trucks, trailers and rock crawlers between the driveways. Would definitely recommend to any larger groups staying in the area! Only recommendation for the hosts would be make the upper door a lockable entrance door so you could avoid the stairs when possible!」

「Beverly is an excellent hostess. Totally on top of her place. It’s clean and comfortable. Fully stocked. Comfortable beds. She opens up her home to you. Plus, the Badin Lake area is beautiful. I would highly recommend this property if you plan to be in the area.」
