「Our one-night stay was underwhelming from start to finish. Check-in took longer than expected due to the busy pub. Room 4 was tastefully decorated and had a lovely sea view, with Whitby Abbey visible in the distance, but it was a double bed. We paid an additional fee for our two dogs, but nothing was provided for them—no bowls, treats or beds. We always bring our own, but for an extra charge, we expected some kind of gesture. Unfortunately, several things in the room were not up to standard....

「Lovely stay at the stables, welcoming friendly staff, the breakfast and evening meal during our stay was really good. Bar prices aren’t the cheapest but similar to what we paid in Whitby. Location is across the road from the park and ride into whitby that takes about 5/10 mins on the bus.」

「Good staff, very helpful. Very good breakfast. Dinner very good though note restaurant seating much better than tables in the bar; we got stuck with noisy bar table for dinner due to late booking. Rooms very nice, newer shower fittings.」

「Hotel was clean and central location. Only problem we had was the time it took to check in. The queue was MASSIVE and snaked all around the foyer. Other customers were telling us it took them over an hour to get checked in so we went away and came back two hours later. Other than that it was fine.」
