「Good place to stay and close to many conveniences such as gas stations, Walmart, Waffle House, etc. and just a short drive into downtown Jasper. They had a breakfast area, but we did not eat there.」

「It's an older hotel, but very well kept and always affordable! The washer and dryer work great and only cost $2.00 per machine! Anywhere else you're paying almost $4, just to start one cycle. The staff is very friendly and always helpful.」

「The beds are terrible. They are on a metal. Frame so every time you would move it sounds .like someone hitting a metal dumpster The mattress were not very comfortable and the room had an order when we arrived. Had to air out the room. We will NEVER stay here again. And whe we checked out at 7;15 am. The door to the office was locked 」

「Where do we begin? Peace in a Pod is wonderful! We could have stayed longer for sure. Upon entering, there was holiday music playing on the TV and a few holiday decorations nestled among the comfy decor. That was a nice touch. The beds and pillows are cozy and comfortable - so much so that we didn't want to get out bed to start our days! The jersey sheets added to the comfort. The views from each room are beautiful, too. We enjoyed the home and all the amenities that Big Canoe has to offer. The home was well-stocked, clean, and decorated perfectly. Three outside porches, two with screens and one open on an upper level, were wonderful for watching nature and relaxing. Plenty of accessible hikes with grocery shopping and a few restaurants within minutes. Hard to believe this jewel is an hour away from the hustle and bustle and traffic of Atlanta.
