「Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for. Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best.」

「The only thing about the weekend stay was we returned from a coastal walk on the Saturday to enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace only to be met with a crowd of party goers and a DJ. We couldn't get anywhere near the terrace but was lucky enough to get a seat inside with a view. Still not the same as it was such a beautiful day we wanted to be outside. 「A unique hotel. The inside, whilst being modern with all the amenities you would expect and more, still maintains a 'castle' feel. The staff were super friendly and attentive and provided sound advice when asked about the local area. A good choice for breakfast, which was excellent. A really fantastic stay.」

We chose this property on the basis of the description and picture of a modern colourful room. What was delivered was a beige painted flock wallpaper scenario out of the 1980's.
