「Excellent lakeside view. True peace and quiet. Courteous and friendly owners who respond to messaging extremely fast. 30 minutes from the Canadian border in Lubec with some stunning vistas. We travelled here from NJ for Halloween weekend in late October 2025, and the trees were turning and changing colors all along the drive up, and all throughout Maine. Cozy cabin vibes and an easy to use fireplace with plenty of firewood. Highly recommended.」

「The only issues I had Was when I got to my cabin the bed had not been made and the trash was not empty from the people before so we had to go to the red barn wash our bedding before we could sleep that night. Also the ad said 1 bedroom 1 bathroom there was no bathroom in the cabin it was in the red barn」

「I was pleased with the property and hosts. The property is quiet and comfortable. The porch overlooking the river is fantastic. The problem came during and after check out. Our host said I was only registered for 1 adult 2 kids. I had reservations for 5 adults (2weee teens). "こちらに到着し、いざチェックインしようとしたら事務所と思しき場所には鍵が掛かっており、誰1人担当者が居ない。 レンタルWi-Fiを契約して持参していたものの宿泊担当者に電話しようにも電話が使えないので、どうしたものか❓と暫し考えあぐねていてHoteis.comに相談すべくサイトを見てみると担当者からメッセージ入っていて 自分達の部屋名、部屋に鍵は掛かっていない事、鍵の置かれている場所などが記載されていて、それでようやく部屋に入る事が出来た。 安全の為にもチェックイン前後とせめて夜間には、担当者が居て欲しかった。 またレストランも併設されているので、夕食、朝食が頂ける事もここでの宿泊を決めた１つの理由だったものの 時期や曜日に依るのかも知れないが、結局レストランは夕食の提供をしておらず、この時期に営業していた近くのスーパーで材料を調達し、宿泊者共用のキッチンにて調理して済ませる事となった。 レンジ、オーブン、大きな冷蔵庫、食器、調理道具等々も十分用意されており、キッチンは大変充実していたのは嬉しく、部屋もシンプルで広くロケーションも最高であったものの、夕食事にレストランが営業していなかった事。 周りにもこの時期に営業している店が一軒も無かったのは 残念だった。"
