「Friendly welcome, clean tidy room, no smells, two small spiders. Comfy bed, nice hot shower. Breakfast was excellent, good choice.」

「Came for two nights and the room we were first in was clean but very tired and the TV didn’t work but we arrived late so were grateful for somewhere to rest our heads. We were moved to a different room for our next night and the A/C was broken but we had a working TV. I’m not sure we would stay here again but couldn’t fault the staff. The decor and amenities just need a bit of a sort out.」

「Hotel guest parking at the rear through barrier (though barrier was up when I arrived and up when I left. Entrance to reception also at rear. Fuss free check in, first floor room in typical Greene King style. Reasonably clean and tidy with everything set out for single guest (only 2 pillows, 2 tea bags, 2 milk sachets....) Tiny bathroom, good job heating was off or using the toilet could have led to burnt leg. Surprisingly quiet during the night right up to 6am when all the early birds were...

「Host was great at contact and very helpful. We had a number of problems that we informed the host about on departure. We were there for two nights and felt the issues could not be resolved during our stay but the host was unhappy that we didn’t inform them about issues sooner. We didn’t feel that the property was adequately cleaned. Downstairs was clean but the bedrooms and bathrooms weren’t very clean at all. Two rooms upstairs smelt of smoke. Outside there was overflowing rubbish, broken...

「I arrived and hotel had no reservation from hotels.com but found a room for me, needed my bank details, but would resolve the issue with hotels.com. Just past midnight, whilst in bed fast asleep hotel.com messaged to say the hotel had rejected my booking, LOL, now neither Hilton or hotels.com are responding back to my emails, so not impressed. A shame because it is a nice hotel.」
