"The whole establishment smells like smoke, even the nonsmoking rooms. We asked to be transferred to a room without carpet which was slightly better. The fire alarm went off for almost an hour at 4am and we stood outside. TV didn't work. Room cards needed to be reprogrammed after the first night, we all got locked out. Management was pleasant and tried to rectify the problems, but it was a bad situation as the Wyndham is trying to update this Ramada. The whole property smells like marijuana or cigarettes. "

"I booked 3 rooms for my family of 12 to sleep a few hours before our drive home. I decided on this hotel because of the price, the free 24 hour airport shuttle and it is only 10 minutes from the airport. We landed at JFK at midnight and they only had one shuttle driver working so it took more than one trip to transport my whole family. When the first of us got to the hotel, the lobby was packed and there was a long check in line with only one person working the desk, it took 40 minutes from arrival to check-in and to get into our room. The rooms were clean and beds weren’t too bad. There was a small area in a top corner where the wallpaper was significantly peeling off and I could hear every voice in the hall and nearby flushing toilet. All that being said, all the employees were very nice in an overwhelming, exhausting situation and the clean rooms served their purpose before the final stretch of our vacation."
