"Property location inaccurate on VRBO site - actually 10 km from Sainte Anne, 13 km from Anse des Salines, and facing the Sargassum seaweed-soiled eastern coast. Extremely slow internet. Very old pool with shaky railings & splinter-risk decking. No privacy fencing or vegetative barrier for outdoor living area which is 10 feet from a busy service road in a noisy neighbourhood. Tired furnishings. Shabby linens/towels. Neglected gardens. Owner who requires communication only in French language...

"Very pleasant open-air living with well-equipped kitchen and spacious deck with lots of birds. Walk to secluded beach. You will need a car to get to restaurants and shopping. Difficult to find because no street names or numbers within La Cherry, so forget Google maps."

"We checked out early and switched hotels. Our balcony door opened even when locked, the place was not maintained well, you need to pay for everything, eg. €4 daily charge for access to the room safe. When we checked out the receptionist hadn’t come in for the day, the cleaners said they show up late all the time and we would need to come back to drop off the key and hope the reception was open. There are better hotels nearby."

"We stayed there for two weeks and had a great time. It's a beautiful place with a gorgeous view and a great pool and deck area. The house itself is very well equipped and in good overall condition tough it is showing a bit that it is a pure rental (fading paint, a few lights that don't work, a mosquito net that would take some serious mending, etc.. nothing bad but not quite high end luxury). The area is very quiet. Overall, we liked it very much and would come again."

"Loved the location; easy to walk to restaurants and shops. You can see the ocean from the backyard. I also loved hearing the church bells in the morning and seeing the goats next door. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful; the patio and pool provide a lovely spot to relax. Fabrice was communicative and accommodating with our schedule for check in and check out."

"Gated, just a block or so from the water (although hill is steep.) Everything we could have needed was provided in the kitchen, including basics like salt, pepper, oil, vinegar. No soap or shampoo in the shower, though. Know that the toilet is, like the bedrooms, accessible off the back wall of the open air living space, not directly accessible from the bedrooms, which have a shower and sink each. When the description says "shower only", it literally means the shower and the sink, no toilet....

L’espace intérieur est limité à la salle de bain et deux petites chambres à coucher qui communiquent avec l’espace extérieur (la cuisine et le salon) par deux portes style garage. Il ne faut pas être claustrophobe pour tolérer les portes fermées la nuit. Impossible d’ouvrir la porte du réfrigérateur lorsque nous étions attablés puisque la cuisine est très petite. Il ne faut surtout pas laisser de fruits dehors parce que...
