「I really enjoyed the age of the hotel and the history behind it! Everything inside was clean, and although it had a slightly creepy feel at first, I think old buildings sometimes have that atmosphere, and I actually kind of like it! The owner was wonderful and very helpful. Everything is older, but that's part of the charm, even if it's not quite from the 1800s! A few minor complaints: the little Keurig only made a 6-ounce cup of coffee and was a bit slow. Breakfast was pretty basic, consisting...

「The Mississippi River Cabin we rented was very clean, easy to find, and had a wonderful view! The information listed for how many people it could accommodate was a little deceiving, as the "couch" in the living area was not a pull-out bed, and would not be very comfortable for someone to sleep on. Otherwise, everything was great!」

「We stayed at this property for a girls trip. It was exactly what we were going for. Quiet, peaceful & adorable. Went to Dubuque for a day and Galena the next. Our mornings were on the porch enjoying our coffee listening to the cows welcome the morning followed by the birds. The deer had a parade in the mornings as well along the bubbling creek. And watching the neighbors horses in the pasture was magnificent. Evenings were dark-dark, which allowed us to admire the night sky filled with stars....

「We really liked our small little cabin. Hot tub was a definite bonus. The only thing I didn't love was the crowdedness of the sleeping area. Which I knew it would not be very big because of the small cabin itself, but it just seemed complicated to navigate. Of course we're not very young either.」

「Great location with easy access to the river. Boat ramp just down the street if you’re looking for a place to put your boat in for the day. Enjoyed the screened in porch for our morning coffee. Well stocked property, everything as advertised and would definitely recommend! Bellevue is a darling town. Tasty coffee at B’s and don’t miss out on Grandpa’s for ice cream.」
