「Pointe du Hob, Omaha beach 訪問の為宿泊。 1月に訪れたのでオフシーズンで周りのレストランはほとんどやっていませんでしたが、近くにスーパーあり夜9時までやっていました。carentanという街に行けば小さい街があるとのことで車で20分ほど走りました。 部屋は普通のアパートと同じで清潔でした。 キッチンにはお鍋、フライパン、スプーン、フォーク、カップが揃っていました。快適に過ごせて満足でした！！ パーキングは敷地内だと5€、外だと無料で止められました。」

「Rooms in desperate need of updating. Furniture poor, no comfortable seating. Poor decorative state, inside and out. Rooms seriously let the whole site down. Check in at 5pm, on site shop closed sf 5.30!! Be very aware of your own cleaning check list」

「The room was amazing! The host has a ton of knowledge on the local food and shops, and even makes an amazing breakfast, too! The house is centrally located in a perfect spot for anyone wanting to see D-Day history. I hope to be back in Normandy again, and when I do, this is where I’ll stay! 」

「Breakfast was fresh foods including homemade jams, fruits from garden, local cheeses and breads and eggs from the farm. Comfortable beds, quiet property, conveniently located near WW2 museums and historical sites. Paul is an amazing host. We would definitely stay here again.」

They have restored everyrhing themsleves - balancing the history of a place built in the late 1790s without making the property too modern or old feeling. Jumbo the dog is a bonis! 「Room was clean. Really kind owner who gave some tips and instructions. We went in May, the town is a bit sleepy but perfect for visiting the ww2 highlights. The bakery in town is excellent.」
