「Room was okay except for moldy shower. Found 3 ticks in the bathroom. Smoking area is right at the entrance. The ashtray was completely rusted through and butts went down into trash can. Seemed to be clean.」

「The desk person was very pleasant and efficient. There was a slight odor when I entered the room which was unnoticible when I turned on the AC. The bed was comfortable and clean. It could use a little updating, but overall was a good room for the money ($108).」

「My book club (all 50) rented Grandpa's Pool House and had a ball. We did all things 70s and the house was a great fit for our tator tot hotdish meals, shrinky dink crafts and Sloe Gin Fizz drinks. We had a couple hiccups with our stay, and the host and property manager responded immediately and made everything right. 」

「Sanctuary at Rum River was perfect for our large family get-together. All of the house was clean. Beds were very comfortable (even the bunk beds) bathrooms were well appointed. Kitchen was GREAT...nice to have everything labeled on the cabinets, and have plenty of dishware, glasses, coffee cups, and silverware. Good assortment of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. Awesome to have the washer and dryer available. Theatre room in the basement was a great bonus. As well as having the garage...

「Everything was great. I was concerned that we missed something about check in and check out as no communication was provided before hand and there were no instructions regarding checkout. We were able to reach the owner to get into the property and cabin and we left the cabin in a clean condition and hoped that was sufficient. Fit our needs perfectly. 」

「We had a great time with my wife and two young kids. Norbert took us out on his boat for 4th of July and was an absolute blast staying here. Nice lake. Big, well maintained yard. Very clean place and excellent host. Very close to a decent restaurant and loved its proximity to the Twin Cities while still feeling like we were “up north”. Would recommend! 」

「The lake house is absolutely beautiful and well-kept. All the couches are pull-outs so everyone in my group of 14 was comfortable! The host is so thoughtful with movie setup and firewood as well. 」

「Beautiful and well equipped. It was our hang out place while babysitting our infant grandson while our daughter attended a wedding. Beds are great! Living room couch was comfortable. The bathroom is small but very clean. Would stay there again if ever needed to.」
