"Great location for access to Saint Mathieu and the lake. Good sized bedrooms, plenty of decent crockery, etc. No frills but adequately met our needs. As we were only a couple we were paying a premium, better value for a family. Gardens surrounded the property with plenty of choice of seating, weather permitting."

"We had a fantastic week staying in a traditional house, renovated to a high standard and equipped with all mod cons. Easy access by car to Limoges. This is a lovely part of France for touring and taking in the gorgeous countryside."

"Mon compagnon et moi-même sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour dans la bulle. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus. Le menu du soir ainsi que le petit déjeuner (qui est inclu) étaient excellent et bien copieux. Nous avons pu profiter d’une nuit étoilée magique depuis le lit dans la bulle! La bulle est située au milieu d’une petite forêt réservée qu’à nous. Le lieu est très calme, paisible et situé dans une zone historique comportant de nombreux châteaux, qui bordent la route Richard Coeur de Lion. "

"We really enjoyed being based at this lovely accommodation to explore the region. It was lovely to come back to the property after a day spent walking and enjoying local French cuisine. It is a peaceful place ideal for relaxing with a cold beer and a nice glass of wine on the patio. "This hotel offers really good qualities for the price. Of course, since it is facing the train station, you have beautiful views of this superbe building, but also the whistles of trains. If very sensitive to that noise, be sure to have ear plugs and it is not a problem. I was OK and would come again to this hotel. The service was excellent, the restaurant also."

"we stay here twice a year, once on our way down to South of France and then on our return. We take our dogs with us, there is a lake with a path leading around it, couple of laps and doggies happy. Swimming pool, son is happy. Parking, bar and restaurant Mum and Dad happy!! We try to get there early, have an early supper, food good, even with a fussy 11 year old. Breakfast also good, best to have either early pre 8 am or later 9.30 ish. Great hotel."
