「I have multiple bed bug bites on me. I stayed at the inn 2 weeks in a row, and there was a bed bug problem in both rooms. When speaking to the supervisor, she seemed very unconcerned and reported she was trained in the inspection and treatment of bed bugs.」

「The house is absolutely adorable and so clean! I especially loved the fluffy great smelling towels in the bathroom and the sink is so cute! This was our first VRBO rental and Jenny answered all of my questions so quickly! Definitely plan on coming back this summer!! 」

「We book the house in April. The house needs a deep cleaning. Especially the Kitchen. The evenings were cool and there were not enough extra blankets. The comforters are for summer weather. The water smelled and was really rusty. Unpon arrival the water in the kitchen sink dribbled out of the faucet and no water came out of the downstairs faucet. Contacted owner and he promply sent someone to look at the problem. The faucet screens were clogged and never really worked well after the service...

「Check in was easy. Person running the VRBO very kind and responsive. There was a year round camper at the pool that screamed and cursed at our 10 year old for being on the rope. It was a huge overreaction and surely didn’t match the offense. Another lady tried to smooth it over but it was too late. It ruined the entire families night. The rule board says nothing about the rope. He was nasty and loud. Also tried to call out another family member and cause a fight to which we...

「This was our second stay at Home of the Brave. This house is nicely laid out, comfortable and so clean. It has everything you need to enjoy a short stay on Indian Lake. The hosts were great with timely communications. Should we have need to stay in the area again, we would definitely hope this rental was available. 」

「House is in a wonderful location, quiet and sits on a beautiful lot. Bedrooms were spacious and lots of living space and dinning areas. Loved being on the inlet to drop a fishing line. Only 1 shower in the house, the other bathroom has a tub and connecting shower line. Would be great for kids but for adults a little hard to manage, however not a deal breaker and would rent the house again! 「The cottage is very cozy! We spent a day at Mad River Mountain and the rest of our time here. We brought a lot of games along, but Cyndi had chess and a few others there too. She decorated for Valentine's Day for us, left amazingly tasteful cupcakes, and even special stuff for our pet that came along! The kids loved the loft! The mattress up there is especially nice too! She left us some firewood for the fireplace, which was so nice, but I wish we had thought to bring some extra from home too....

「Perfect base camp for exploring the area. Good access to the lake with stores nearby and even a coffee shop. One minor problem getting into the house that the host fixed quickly - much appreciated - the rest of the stay was great.」

「This was a boys trip for Dad and kiddo plus our dog to get some fishing in during spring break. Everything was wonderful with the house and the overall property. We really made use of the dock to fish and even made some catches. Great, quiet area for walking the dog around. We would definitely stay again. 」
