This was our second stay at Home of the Brave. This house is nicely laid out, comfortable and so clean. It has everything you need to enjoy a short stay on Indian Lake. The hosts were great with timely communications. Should we have need to stay in the area again, we would definitely hope this rental was available.
Cute , cozy and any questions very quickly responded to. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and the back porch with coffee was a great start before we headed out to take in the area around us.
The property was nice, clean and it was comfortable for our needs. The beds were good. The foosball table was fun for the kiddo.Nice back yard area with fire pit. Item of note, you may want to bring more towels if you have a large group. They were only 4 provided.
Great location, clean, beds were comfy, living room and kitchen were spacious. Perfect for us and our adult children. Great communication from Rick and Christine.
We enjoyed a long weekend, despite the rain. The proximity to the lake was great! The house was incredibly clean, and was equipped with everything that one needs for a rainy stay including board games, foos ball, a Roku TV and even a DVD player.

We had a very nice stay in Lakeview. The house was clean and nicely decorated and everything worked as it should. Communication was excellent as well. Being out of season, it was very quiet which we appreciated but there were shops and restaurants nearby so we never went without.
This was our 3rd time staying at this property and will definitely be back. The house is so clean and has everything you need. The owners do a great job communicating and the check in/out process is very easy.
The house is very clean and updated. It has everything you need for a weekend stay. It was perfect for the 5 adults and one child in our party. The hosts are great!
We came into town to visit family in Bellefontaine & Marysville. The home was the perfect amount of space. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, outdoor games, indoor games, and wood for the firepit. We will definitely stay again.
We came to this house for the eclipse and we had a great stay. The house is cozy and cute. The hosts are great communicators. The lake is just nearby. We made smores in the backyard fire pit. We had a great time!
The house was perfect for three of us. It is well stocked with cooking utensils. It is also very clean and the property owner responds quickly to any questions. We will be back.
This is a very nice home with plenty of extras for families. We only stayed one night and couldn’t take advantage of all it had to offer. Clean, comfy and cozy. The hosts respond quickly and were kind enough to accommodate our request of an earlier check-in. Great location and would stay again.
We were in town for our annual law enforcement motorcycle club rally. This property was perfect. My friends were jealous of our spot compared to theirs. The property owners were fantastic and offered to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Will definitely check the availability of this property on our next stay as it was a nice, clean, and affordable stay!
The home was wonderful. Clean, neat and directions clearly stated to find and operate everything. It is located at the end of the street which makes it far enough away for the hustle and bustle but close enough that we walked to the lake everyday within 5 min. We went to out to see the sites and to have dinner on the lake. We would stay again in a heart beat.
This is a great property!!! This home is well maintained, clean, decorated very cute, well stocked and located close to the lake.
I would highly recommend it. I grew up at Indian Lake and recommend this property to everyone I know. I have received very positive feedback from others who have stayed here from our suggestions.
We rented this location primarily to have a place super close to Indian Lake to fish. As a result, we didn't take advantage of a ton of nice stuff they have to do in the third bedroom/play room. Place was immaculate, very nice.
My husband, in laws and our 2 year old son and nephew had the best time at Rick and Christine’s home. The directions to get into the house were clear, and the house was available many hours before scheduled check in. The house is lovely, with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a bonus game room where the toddlers slept in their pack and plays. We appreciated all of the small touches from the sweet welcome card and bubbles, the coffee, and the wonderful assortment of games. We come yearly to Indian lake for Memorial Day and would love to stay again next year!
Was in town on business after the tornado at the beginning of March and found this modernized home to stay in for a couple days. For the price, everything was nice. Had everything in the kitchen you would need to make a dinner minus an ice cream scoop. Everything was clean and kept up. Fast Wi-Fi. Lots of channels on the Roku. Quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk to the lake. Thank you for the stay.
Needed a place to sleep while visiting family at the Indian Lake Campground. We wanted the shortest drive possible to the campground entrance and this was about 5 minutes, perfect! The home is located about a block from the lake’s canals in the back of a trailer home area. Don’t let the initial impression driving into the neighborhood from the main road deter you. It’s a mix of needing-love trailer homes and beautifully maintained and/or new homes, RV’s, and pole barns/storage structures. In a few years, I suspect many of the older properties will be bought up and renovated or leveled and new builds. Everyone kept to themselves as we drove by. The home itself is true to the photos and impeccably kept. Light switches are all labeled which was so helpful! There is enough kitchen supplies to make a decent meal beyond hotdogs and burgers. You could just about white glove anywhere in the home and it would be squeaky clean! Will keep this place on our list for next year when family returns to the campsite!
