「10/10 experience! Can’t wait to go back! One overnight stay isn’t enough stay for multiple days!!!!」

「The room was difficult to use. The bathroom was difficult to use. Even getting a cup of coffee in the morning was difficult. The room was large, but missing a luggage rack to put a suitcase. The alcove area near the door looked empty-missing a coffee maker and microwave perhaps? A hanging lamp hung over a missing table. It was low enough for me to hit it (5'1"). We couldn't figure out how to use the remote for the heater/a/c. The bathroom vanity had zero counter space and no shelves to place...

「Loved the stay here as well as the friendly staff. Jamie who had helped us check in was very friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. Location was very dog friendly. Our room was very clean, quiet and had a beautiful scene of nature. Nice place to choose for a quiet get away stay.」

「The property is set in a small quaint area overlooking the river. The hotel and additional buildings are really pretty and our room was huge and comfortable for three people. The staff were attentive, the beds were comfortable, and the shower hot. We were going to a show at the Basilica Hudson so although it was a short stay, it was wonderful and would highly recommend. We didn’t partake in the restaurant, live music or breakfast, but all seemed to be a great addition.」

「Really nice, close to hiking and skiiing」

「Clean and comfortable, but No heater , it was so cold. No free wifi .」

「The property is well maintained and clean and the staff was welcoming upon arrival. We definitely enjoyed our stay and it has a good location in the Catskill Mountains that allowed us to fully explore the area. Our one improvement idea is that the preparation quality of the "included" breakfast did not seem to match up with the rest of the experience/property. We might suggest upgrading the quality of the breakfast preparation/ingredients and charging for breakfast to better align...

「the refrigerator and the shower did not work. Also there was no light in the bathroom.」

「Staff made you feel right at home, the server had immense knowledge in the food they were serving! You can also taste the chef’s effort that he put into each dish! I will definitely be back.」

「Plenty of parking and clean rooms. Staff was very friendly. The hotel is only about 20 minutes from Basilica Hudson - perfect for an overnight stay after seeing a concert!」

「Clean room and free parking. The problems are hot water takes some water time come in and in bathtub there’s no handle for seniors.」

「We had a nice stay at the Black Bear. Great location and Kim was very accommodating.」

「Everything else was in the $350 range that weekend, so we went a little further out to budget our money. I couldn't figure out if the heater worked or not. No coffee. Just a place to rest our heads. It is what it is.」

「Winwood is an excellent choice if you’re looking to explore the Catskills! It is located just up the road from amazing restaurants and shops in Windham. The staff is amazing. There are so many amenities for adults and kids. 10/10 recommendation!」
