「We had a wonderful Mothers Day weekend! Our host was very gracious and welcoming, and the property was lovely. We had a little trouble getting in, and she immediately called to make sure we could get settled quickly, which was truly appreciated with a tired toddler in tow haha. The deck overlooking the lake is very cool! We were able to have Wendy’s delivered in the morning, but mostly plan to drive for food, as it’s somewhat remote. The kitchen in the house is very nice and equipped for cooking...

「The property manager was fantastic. He went above and beyond when we spoke with him. The only ‘slight issue’ was the lack of internet. No internet is listed, but there is no cell service either. No way to use a ‘hotspot’ either. Overall, nice place for the money. 」

「This "house" instantly became "home" to our family. To say that Captain's Lodge is perfect is every way isn't an exaggeration. Being better than pictured; we enjoyed every offering: hot tub, ping pong, foosball, and the video equipment all were big hits. The kitchen is a dream! We had a blast making our individual pizzas and baking them in the pizza oven.
