「Room was clean and for a quick stop/stay on our way to Idaho, it worked fine.」

「There were some dead bugs on the floor of the room when we checked in. The bathtub didn't look very clean in the corners. One of the tv's didn't work (we had an adjoining bedroom). I wasn't expecting a lot with our stay. It was fine for what we paid. It wasn't our first choice of a place to stay, but our first choice was booked already, and the other options were too expensive due to the fair concert.」

「Jessie is a very accommodating host, and her VRBO is excellent! The little bungalow is always clean, has front door parking, and she is even accommodating to fur babies. It is within walking distance to downtown even! The patio is a great space, and has a grill that is great for an evening in. The queen bed is comfortable and Jessie has black out shades which is appreciated. This is our second stay and we would stay again. 5 stars!」

「The house is truly in a beautiful area! The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans as well as many condiments and general supplies. Beds were super comfortable and the living arrangements and deck worked well for our family of six - 2 kids, grandparents and parents. It was a great location for exploring the John Day fossil beds. 」

「This is a beautiful home, on property. Conveniently located to John Day and Canyonville, yet just the right distance from them to be extremely peaceful! No sirens or horns. The home is large, great kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Large front and back decks to enjoy the outdoors. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, I was sad to leave. I was surrounded by deer and the beautiful scenery. The view from the front porch is spectacular and the starry night skies are huge. Beautiful home...

「Great location in John Day! The house, back patio and spacious yard was perfect for our 7 person group. Kitchen well stocked, comfortable beds and great views. Jim was quick to respond. We explored the nearby National Forests with our Jeeps and I enjoyed a good cardio walk from the house up to the plateau. Will recommend to others .」
