This is an older, small, motel, but nicely kept up. John Day is a quaint little town. Amenities mostly confined to a nice guest basket in the room; water, coffee, snacks.

A great little motel in John Day. Beds were comfy, room was clean. Included a nice touch of water and snacks. Also recommended 1188 Brewing down the street which included 10% off. The corned beef sandwich was yummy!

It looks like your average side of the freeway hotel but it was very clean, comfortable and in a great central location. There were snacks and coffee available in the room for free which was awesome! We would definitely stay there again!

Very unique hotel, needed a layover for our road trip. Kind check in, needed some food as it was late and the clerk was able to help us find a good place to eat. Rooms were very clean. The beds could use a mattress topper for sleeping and a hair dryer was not in the room. Otherwise a nice inexpensive hotel. Would recommend this place.

I think this is an older motel but they have done an excellent job of remodeling, keeping it up and clean. Staff was awesome. The only negative was parking. They have very few well sized spaces for full sized pickups and the parking lot can be tight. even with that no doubt I will stay here next time we are in John Day

Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was noise, but given the proximity of rooms to the parking lot and highway, noise is unavoidable.

The hotel was great! You wouldn’t expect so pulling up but they folded their towels neatly and had a work table with chairs that I could put my laptop on as well as enough plug ins. There was a Keurig and snacks that were great. The WiFi was super efficient.

This is an older two story motel. The rooms are renovated which is great but it would be nice if the bedding was updated a bit more. There is no breakfast but they thoughtfully provided a Kerig with pods and water plus some snacks. The parking is a little tight. It was a decent rate.

I was in John Day for one night as a stopover on the way to another town and needed a cheap, safe spot to rest. The staff was friendly and location easy and convenient. Parking lot was pretty tight and somewhat difficult to park in and get out of. The premises were also pretty loud at times during the night with motorcycle sounds as groups of bikers were coming in/out of the lot and the walls are not well soundproofed. Overall the hotel served its purpose as a safe and clean spot to sleep for a good price for a night.

This was the low budget option in John day for me and I was very pleased. The room was clean. There were coffee supplies plus water plus snacks. The location is right down the street from a good restaurant so I was able to walk there and didn’t have to sort out parking 10 out of 10.
