「So I was skeptical about a drive up motel but was willing to give it a try. I opened the door and “Wow” came out of my mouth. This was the cleanest, nicest, biggest and most well set up motel I have ever seen. I usually don’t give any place higher than an 8, because there is always something that could be better, right? Wrong. These folks have it going on! Even the coffee was good. My only request would be liquid creamer.」

「The best part was breakfast. We had the best server and everything tasted great. The room was not great. Very dirty, looks very run down and not up to date. website not updated. We were expecting a lounge and restaurant and both had been closed for months.」

「Clean! Nice view of the river while sitting on the back deck. For the most part our stay was good.」

「Such a cute little cabin! My boyfriend and I enjoyed making smores at the fire pit. My only complaint was the factory across the street being a bit loud when you’re sitting outside but this place still deserves 5 stars! Hoping it’s available again for the Mothman festival next year」

「The cabin was just perfect; location was pretty isolated, everything worked perfectly, inside and outside very well kept and clean! Spent almost a week enjoying nature, reading on the porch. The host, who was great, mows the trails - bonus! You can see the pride he takes in maintenance, not easy to do in the middle of a forest. Wonderful place.」

「great, quiet place」

「Food was left in refrigerator and uncleaned pan with oil and utensils where in the oven left. Had to wipe everything down all dishes felt oily. An the smell outback was awful really couldn't even sit back there. The property itself was really nice.」

「The home was clean and everything was as advertized.」

「Small, nice place to getaway!」

「This cabin is located in a beautiful, peaceful, part of Gallia County Ohio. The views are breathtaking. The property is decorated beautifully and has a large gazebo to sit in that looks pretty at nights with the lights on. It also has a grill for outdoor BBQ beside the gazebo. I especially enjoyed how they had the fire pit arranged and outdoor chairs were provided in gazebo as well as a nice picnic table where I enjoyed sitting, reading, and writing while looking at the hills full of trees. 「A beautiful, clean property with an awesome view. Just far enough from the hustle, but close enough to good food and fun things to do. Friendly host too!」

「Comfortable, clean and beautiful in the fall.」

「Lovely cabin with modern touches. A nice place to get away from it all. Also not terribly far from Point Pleasant, if you want to see the Mothman.」

「**5-Star Review for Sweet Pines Cabin**We had the pleasure of staying at Sweet Pines Cabin over the 4th of July holiday, and it truly exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning beauty of the space. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous—perfectly nestled among the pines with a warm, inviting interior that feels both cozy and luxurious. The attention to detail in the decor, the spacious layout, and the peaceful surroundings made it the ideal retreat...
