「I was upgraded to a larger room with a great view, which I appreciated. But the manager arranged a driver who took me to a scam-like massage place. It was unsafe and I had to go to the Tourist Police myself to get a full refund. The manager, despite having recommended the driver himself, refused to take responsibility, and his response afterward was far from reassuring. The owner offered a discount the next day but never apologized. I had asked to use the “Pick Me” app, but was pushed to use...

「Saubere geräumige Zimmer mit Balkon, aber im Zentrum von Ella: viele LKW, viele Tuktuk, Abgase , Ruhe ab ca 22.00. Staff war sehr hilfreich, spricht gut englisch, erfüllt Sonderwünsche umgehend. Frühstücksbuffet war für 5 Euro schwach, als Brotbelag gabs keine Wurst, nur eine Sorte Käse, dafür viel warmes Srilankaessen. Restaurant nebenan gehört zum Hotel. Ella an sich ist hässlich, laut und stinkig. Der Clou sind eben die Bahn, das Hochland, der Tee.」
