"The nice ride to the airport was a plus. The location is a little difficult to find.Restaurant was alright and braekfast was pretty basic.Employees were helpful but the language difference was a challenge."

Jean-Marc and his staff make guests feel like extended family in their lovely and cozy property. The rooms are very well maintained, the neighborhood desirable, the food top notch, and the service equivalent to that of the priciest properties in the priciest cities. Absolutely a must-stay in Abidjan!

This place is cozy, calm, relaxing, very clean, has all the necessary amenities need for a good relaxing day and a good night's rest in the room. I didn't try the swimming pool however, the backyard has a very nice feel of nature with a friendly (but secured) monkey on tree, the palm trees and gazebo/covered shed. I will go back when next I'm in Abidjan. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos to share but there's no regret.

Staff was spectacularly helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and fairly well equipped. It's definitely a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel, but that's a plus to some. Downside is no gym, but there is a nice pool and garden. Location is great as many restaurants are walking distance and many organizations and businesses have offices nearby. Breakfast is good (fresh fruit, bread, coffee and juice) and they're flexible on timing. Would go again. Very good internet, which is a huge plus.

This was paradise! Those who left negative reviews are just plain blind. I have been to many many countries and this hotel was in the top three of the thousands I have stayed in, especially in Africa. Well done and thank you

Its Clean and would love to come back.
Only that they are still using a local keylock for an over $40 a night Room. Need a little upgrade to fit into modern amenities.
The Hotel was quite expensive. But it was great. The staffs were so helpful extremely helpful....because i do mot understand french they helped me narvigated my way around easy.
And Francis the Receptionist was just too great.
Overall i will come again if i visit Abidjan

Amazing stay. Rooms are clean and breakfast spread is decent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The guy at the restaurant (forgotten his name-shame on me) was SUPER AWESOME. He delivered world class service throughout our stay. I’ll return to Roots anytime I’m in Cote D’Ivoire just for the quality service I received. Two thumbs up. Definitely recommend.

Our room wasn't ready when my husband arrived. But was accommodating 4 days later so that was good. Over all was a very nice stay for me and my husband. I Highly recommend staying here when visiting Abidjan.

Really great spot. I'd recommend highly. Off a street with a lot of restaurants and city action but quiet.
The staff was very polite and welcoming and the room is great.
Has a European feel with the pool and pool bar. Would definitely stay here again if wanting to stay in this side of town
