The common area has field guides, atlases, and all kinds of information to enhance your stay. We'd spot amazing wildlife and then try to find them in the guides. The farm tour was fantastic, and the food quality. Michelle in particular was wonderful and kind. I've already recommended it to several friends.」

「If you are looking to decompress, enjoy the natural beauty of a massive estate, and breath clean air - this place is the best!!! Jorge, the owner is a veteran of the tourism industry and is extremely knowledgeable about geography, history, pretty much everything Tico. The property has a few pools, a hiking trail, a water slide, horseback riding, zip lining, a jacuzzi, and more. Bring a yoga mat and a bathing suit.」

「This place is a hidden gem! The rustic cabins are well maintained and clean. A short walk from the cabin and you arrive at the restaurant where the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The hosts were so nice and helpful, making suggestions for our hikes and other options for dinner (although we ate on site 4 times it was so good). Our kids miss Lucky and Domino and wanted to take the puppies home :-) I would definitely recommend!」

「The Lodge was spectacular and the staff friendly, professional, and helpful. Within hours of arrival, they knew our names. The room was large, private, clean and very comfortable with a large deck overlooking the rainforest, a huge bathroom and our own private hot tub. We did many activities through the lodge (hiking, yoga, night walk, bird watching tour) and the guides were excellent. The food was delicious and very fresh. Each dish was beautifully plated and generous. 5 stars!」

「Beautiful, serene property. Very nice host and hostess. Loved the waterfall hike. It was the highlight of our trip. We were there by ourselves and could swim. If you’re into exploring and not a resort travel style this place is fabulous. We came here from JW in Guanacaste and loved this more than the resort. Clean and comfy. Breakfast was delicious and tastefully served. Be mindful of the hike though. Not super easy. Hiking shoes , poles and certainly water shoes, towel, and water are a must. 」

「We arrived early from our last stay and they accommodated us by giving us free range of the grounds until 1 of our 2 rooms was ready. In short, it would be a great place to stay for families with young kids or people who don't particularly like to leave resort grounds. Garishly painted and not near anything (Rincòn de la Vieja park entrance is over an hour away)」

「The property was a very typical Costa Rican Lodge. Beautiful location along a very nice river, off the beaten track away from loud city noise.
