「It seems they thought of everything. The tiny house was indeed tiny, but plenty of room to unwind and relax in a secluded area.」

「This listing is deceiving. The whole area was under a blizzard warning. They had roughly 3 days notice that this storm was coming, and it did. 14 inches of snow later I’m supposed to check in but the host forgot to make sure the rental was plowed. Her words “oh yeah I forgot that” when I called to find out what was going on. I was refunded that first day. Day two, and I didn’t get checked in until after 11am. So most of the day gone. 「My friends and I came away very pleased with our no-frills wilderness camping on Rod's property. He has the best view of the Huron Mtns I've seen, with a better perspective on the south faces than Pt Abbaye. They really lit up in the sun with peak color all over. We also loved his sweet dog Max, who quickly pivoted from intimidating bark at strangers to "dare you to try to take my stick" playfulness in seconds.I would go back in a heartbeat, but I did take off 1 star for listing accuracy only...

「Nice, comfortable, and convenient spot to stay for our snowmobile trip. Plenty of room to park a 4 door truck and 25’ enclosed trailer. Gas and through town trail are 2 short blocks away. Rode directly from the house easily. Great location that is exactly as advertised and I don’t think can be beat for the price. Host was communicative and available. Definitely will book again if we make another trip to the area and it’s available.」

「Everything was great, the toilet needs to be replaced...if youre a male over 6' like me, youre squatting low to sit, and your junk goes straight into the water...not very pleasant lol...other than that, it was amazing.」

「This property is in an awesome location on a small bay of Lake Superior. Perfect for a base to explore the western UP and Keweenaw Peninsula. The house is a bit dated and in dire need of tile repairs in the tub of the upstairs bath. The kitchen pots pans utensils etc needs to be updated. There is no lock on the queen room door. We enjoyed the location, sunsets, and bonfires every night. 」
