「Receptionist on check in was not friendly and did not explain where breakfast was held, breakfast times, if I wanted dinner reservations etc. It was all robotic - sign here and basically give me your payment. So as a first impression from a long journey not great. Room had suitable amenities. Kettle, biscuits, hairdrier. Shower very powerful. Bed comfy. Breakfast good selection. Staff friendly and efficient in the breakfast area. Hotel clean.」

「部屋の広さも十分で、アトリウムに面したテラスが非常に良い。 また隣接してレストランがあり、遅い到着で食事の心配があったが、リーズナブルに食事をすることができた スタッフも非常に気さくで良かった。」

「ホテルの方は大変いい方ばかりです。設備面はエレベータがないことと、トイレやシャワーが室内にないのは不便です。特に鍵を持ってトイレに行くのは清潔感はあるのですが、煩わしいです。あと食事時間、日曜の夜は終了時間が早すぎます。 シャワーの操作盤が高いところにありすぎます。もっと位置を変えないと操作が大変です。室内の棚やシャワー室のタオル掛けなどきちんと止まっていないために物がずり落ちたりします。」

「Kings House is the oldest guest house in Douglas and Miriam and Robin have taken on a big project to renovate this beautiful house. They are gradually renovating the house so certain aspects have not been completed but this wouldn't put us off returning. Miriam couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. 「仕事で利用しました 火災で焼失し、数か月前にリニューアルオープンしたとのこと。まだ設備も新しく、SPA等設備も来年にはオープンされるとのことです。 スタッフもフレンドリーで、請求書も当方リクエスト通りのものを後日メールで着実に送付していただけました。 空港からも近く、休暇で行くには良い場所かもしれません」

「Beautiful building ,large room」

「Staff was kind and helpful. Our room was odd to get to going up the stairs then down the stairs. No A/C so windows open… except open to a bar right outside which was loud until 3am. Yikes. Wonderful location next to the promenade and shops. Good food options around too. TV was small. Bar area had broken drafts for the beer. Breakfast was so/so but they would make you eggs however you’d like fresh, so that was nice.」

「I honestly cannot rate this hotel high enough, the rooms were absolutely spotless, the breakfasts were amazing and the staff. Well every single member of staff were pleasant, polite, courteous and helpful. The aircon was heaven sent in the heatwave, I had amazing sleep every night yet my brother in law in a budget hotel was tormented with heat. I will without a doubt stay there again and wont even contemplate looking at other hotels.」

「Breakfast was excellent and evening meals were good value for money. The staff were friendly, kind and very helpful. The hotel's location was perfect with adjacent parking for our classic car. It was right on the market square and the bus stop with a regular bus service was just outside. The room was good and clean.
