「We had a fantastic stay at The Vanguard in York. Set in a residential area, it’s a well-located base just a 15–20 minute stroll from the city’s main attractions. If you needed breakfast foods or snacks they were available in the reception area, some were complimentary (Croissants in the morning), other items were priced fairly. The staff were very accommodating. Secure covered parking is available at extra cost, that was good for us. 」
