"This is the second year in a row wehave stayed here and we plan to do it more. The staff are great. The rooms are clean. The pool and hot tub are awesome. The seating area outdoors is very nice. If you can’t fill up on the free breakfast, you have a problem. Nothing‘s perfect, but this place is pretty close. Only issue I think I’ve noticed both times is not enough towels outside for the pool. We stayed in a suite this time it was very nice, plenty of room, two TVs, fold out couch in one room, two queen size beds in the other room and a nice bathroom. For being on the island and Memorial Day weekend, the price really wasn’t bad."

"Perfect hotel close to the St. Simons "action." Nice complimentary breakfast that was not over or under whelming. They had cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, cold "egg bites," grits/assorted instant oatmeal varieties, english muffins, variety of bagel flavors, cinnamin raisin toast, juice, milk, ect. They spoke highly of their amazing coffee machine, which was awesome. It made coffee, hot chocolate, cafe au lait, and all kind of different mixtures of the previously mentioned. You could make tea with honey as well if that's your thing. The room was nice, but the staff was next level amazing! This is especially true of the lady that assisted us on Sunday afternoon/evening. A nice room is great, but when a person makes you feel welcome it can make a day (and a stay). We felt like we were at home staying with St. Simons by the Lighthouse. The lovely lady that was on duty gave us recommendations, chatted with us casually, helped guide my son and joked with him, and brought us waters/checked on us by the pool. She deserves all the praise and good things. Thank you all for a wonderful stay!"

"Location is great if you plan on walking every where. Parking is very limited, and very hard to get in and out of. Hotel maybe has 10 parking spot total. If you do not get a spot in the back of the hotel you have to park in the front public where traffic is always backed up due to red light and sight is very limited. It was one of those hope and pray nothings coming situations. On our last day we were awoken by beating and banging at 2:00 in the morning, found out cops were trying to get into a room. There is no hotel staff after 9:00 pm. Needless to say we were up and left the hotel at 3:00 in the morning. Other than that our room was clean and comfortable. Only room complaint is there was a constant light outside both windows so we couldn’t tell if it was still dark or morning light shining through. Unfortunately I will not be going back."

"They had a room that slept 8 people, the beds were thick and comfy and they had some nice outdoor furniture in the hallways around the pool so we actually spent a lot of time outside the room. My only complaint is there is only one bathroom in that big room and the bathrooms need an upgrade. They spent a lot of time updating the rooms though so everything about that was clean and nice. For a hotel this close to the beach, I’m surprised how clean it was. No sand or anything."

"Nice place but the room is very dated. The beach access at the pool has been removed so you have to go all the way around the hotel to access the beach. The beach bar has been closed due to renovations that have not even started. You can still get food and drinks you just have to wait for someone to come around and ask you. There is multiple pools so I think one should be designated for adults only. All that isn't bad but for over $500 per night we expected a lot more!"
