"This property is in a great location. Four Mile beach, The Marina, the main shopping area are all within walking distance. I had a lovely room with balcony overlooking a great pool. Tropical gardens, self catering facilities."

"Good for a stay in the rainforest. Pretty much at the end of the line before the 4wd dirt track . Had a Casowary outside our unit and a big croc on the beach . Unit was basic but adequate. The property has a reasonably priced bar and restaurant right on the beach . I would recommend staying here."

"This is the place to stay in Port Douglas. Everything is fabulous about By The Sea but it is the staff who make your holiday the absolute best. Friendly, cheerful, helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is excellent & everything is there for you to have a wonderful holiday."

"Room was clean, the staff I spoke to was very nice and cheerful, I liked the outdoor kitchen setup. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked very clean and welcoming. I thought some areas could do with a paint touch up, but it didn’t detract. Overall a comfy 3 night stay. Cheers."
