"The biggest problem we encountered was a climate issue with the room. It was cold and clamy, due to humidity caused by a previous shampooing of the rugs. This is a shame because they did the right thing to maintain the property, but it had an unfortunate side effect. That said, the staff was wonderful in helping us resolve the issue. They promptly gave us a dehumidifier that made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. It was loud, but we liked the white noise it provided! Thank you to the staff for being so helpful 👍😁"

"This was a nice hotel. The breakfast was great and the staff helpful and personable. The main concern was the air conditioning which didn’t really cool and control the humidity. Otherwise, turning left into the hotel was a traffic hazard with oncoming traffic and no turn lane."

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this four bedroom home in the 4x4 area of Corolla, OBX. Our host was a great communicator and very responsive. The house was well furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed. The views from the top porch were incredible and we had wild horses visit several times. We would definitely stay here again. We had an SUV and had no trouble driving on the sand and it was very convenient to be able to drive to the beach and park there for the day. The front of the home is well protected by large vegetation which limited our viewing of the many wild horse tour vehicles that went by each day. The home is within walking distance of the beach."

"Very impressed by the decor and size of the great room, the large island for our group of 17, the 8 bedrooms accommodated everyone and absolutely lots of space. We enjoyed the beautiful pool every day and of course our beach time. A short walk to the beach for all of us. Definitely ample cookware and dishes for all. Bedrooms nice size, clean but I will add bedrooms get warm and a couple fans not working properly. Towels are provided but depending on the size of your group, you might want to pack extras. There was an issue with tiny ants especially in the area of the kitchen. The host did help with the situation and an exterminator wasn’t available until after our checkout. Also, many flies inside which maybe time of year and we had lots of people in and out. We did make use of the fly swatter! A little more TLC outside would be good, the lower deck off bedroom needing attention, weeds need cut down, the gas grill was quite bad. The grease holder was overflowing and onto the mat underneath. We enjoyed Sandbridge Island Resort for drinks and karaoke Tuesday nights, Baja dinner night & breakfast, Blue Pete’s dinner night, Margie & Rays drinks, appetizers, Sandbridge Corner Market, The Bee & Biscuit, Bloody Mary, breakfast and of course our family at THE BEACH!!!! We were able to meet our friends a couple times also!Enjoyed the military jets also.Thank you Cathy!! Many memories made, Family Fun!!H, J, L, O Families"

"The property is a lovely, quiet destination where you can relax and enjoy beautiful scenery. This is a a nature-lover’s delight as you can marvel at waterfront sunrise/sunsets, bird watch, fish, and cruise around on your kayaks (and that’s just at the property — Kitty Hawk beach is an easy 30 ride away). The renovations throughout and ample room sizes makes this an excellent choice for families. My husband and I plan to buy a set of those Turkish Cotton towels! They were an added bonus after a nice shower!! Highly recommended!! We would visit again."
