"A delightful and eclectic decor and four resident case acting as social directors. Unfortunately in this very small town their restaurant is closed for dinner on weekend and the other hotel restaurants in town were limited in capacity to their own guests. "A beautiful place next to a medieval town, right on the rock as the pictures correctly show. Its restaurant serves excellent food, one of the best meals that we had in France over 10 months (so many). The hotel is pet-friendly (yay for pet lovers), the pool is nice, but unheated, the breakfast is a bit on a limited side. I'd absolutely stay again."

"This was a good option for a base when visiting the region. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, if a little strangely designed. A lack of sensible plug sockets (we had to boil the kettle on the floor!) and the water from the shower went everywhere because there is no shower tray - yet is not a wet room! We found parking stressful, we arrived late at night and found no spaces free thanks to inconsiderate parking from guests, the hotel would do well to mark acual spaces. We did squeeze our tiny car alongside the bins for overnight, and then after heading out early could not get a space at any other time during our stay. The night porter did help us at one point by explaining that the street parking would be ok overnight as long as we moved again by 8am. Given that we were on a three week road trip we had a very full car and this wasn't ideal. We would have liked to try the restaurant but couldn't as they seemed to stop serving earlier than advertised. We were told it was 'fully booked' at around 8pm despite lots of empty tables, we think they just didn't like that we hadn't pre booked. All in all this hotel was good enough and comfortable for a short stay and maybe better if you are less busy and have less luggage, but for us it just has a few fracture points that in all probability would not encourage us to stay again. The town is charming and we found good options for both breakfast and later dinners, just don't go out too late as the options dwindle."

Fresh pastries ( all homemade) yogurt, jams, juice and coffee and chocolate milk for kids, were all ready for us. We enjoyed talking to Bernadette about our travels during breakfast. Property was spacious and kids enjoyed visiting the horses on the property. Chickens roaming around and a sweet friendly cat were a highlight for our family. They have a very nice pool area with chairs and patio area which host said we could use anytime. Bring your own towels if you are able to use the pool. We unfortunately were only booked for one night so we did not get to use the pool. The town of Dordogne is a short drive from Moulin De Lassalle B& B would recommend a stop to this charming medieval village with its shops and restaurants. Would highly recommended this charming B&B if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay in the French country side. Merci beaucoup Bernadette!"
