"I booked this hotel based largely on the fabulous looking pool. We arrived to find it was closed for the season. The surly receptionist said their terms make this clear (I checked their website and found nothing). It put a dampener on our stay. The main restaurant was also closed. We were advised we could use their other restaurant. We checked it out, it is really a locals bar, which I normally wouldn’t mind but it was filthy. "We greatly enjoyed our stay at the San Antonio. The property is beautiful and the food at the restaurant excellent. Plus, we had a car and the parking was easy, though they should just weave the parking fee into the hotel price. It always feels cheap to charge for parking afterwards. Great location. One thing to watch out for, the walls are surprisingly thin and you can hear your neighbors clearly. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. "
