"I don't think I'm a fussy traveler, but there are cups for coffee or tea in the room and a kettle, but nothing to brew. The room had a musty moldy odor and there was a giant hole in the shower ceiling. It was a bit unsettling. We weren't here long, so it suited our needs of one night, but I would not recommend it, sadly. "

"The resort is beautiful, with a lovely pool and gorgeous grounds. The breakfast is excellent with a large selection of local and western offerings. The staff is exceptionally courteous. The resort offers and free shuttle to and from Hoi An Old Town, which is very convenient. There is a beach across the street. "

"Room was only OK. Bed very uncomfortable even after changing rooms. Nice quiet location and lovely surroundings. Average breakfast at best. "

"Brilliant stay. Family run business as well as beautiful Thong who made us fresh breakfast every morning. Took us cycling and touring. Free cycles and scooters. Rooms and the hotel and lake were exceptional. Also has a nice swimming pool.Major value for money. Can’t fault this place. Peaceful laid back exceptionally beautiful grounds. My only regret is not spending more time here. But I will be back in Vietnam, and when I do I am definitely coming back here. Staff made you feel so welcome. Fellow travellers!!! "A fantastic hotel to stay at in Hoi An.Wonderful staff in Vivian, Sally, Catherine, Minh, Hau and more who are extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating.Rooms are great with very comfortable beds, great shower and bathrooms, TV, fridge, compliments etc. Swimming pool is large and very clean.Very easy access to the heart of Hoi An town and Ancient district.The free bike use is marvellous and it is a 5 minute flat, relaxing ride into the heart.Very safe ride during the day or night.Breakfast is very good with many fresh options from the buffet.Serene is a perfect place to stay and I could have happily stayed longer.Will definitely return to Serene Hotel & Spa in the future."
