"Our stay at Maurizio’s apartment was top notch! First class all the way. Maurizio was in contact with us as needed up until the day of our trip and was very responsive.Maurizio happened to be out of town during our stay, so his son, Luca, greeted us and settled us in.We cannot say enough wonderful things about Luca. He gave us the tour of the apartment and detailed for us the amenities. But what really made an impression, was how he took us to the Metro station and got us our week-long Metro cards. It was such a huge help to have someone fluent in French do this for us. By the way, paying for the week-long Metro card paid for itself in 3 rides!!! Luca was also very responsive to us during our stay. We asked him several times the best train routes to take, and he provided us with excellent directions!Luca even came to visit us the day before we left to check in, and we chatted for a while and picked his brain about all the questions that came up about Paris during our time there. He graciously answered everything and was a great sport about it.The neighborhood the apartment was located in was perfect. Plenty of bars, restaurants, pastry shops, two grocery stores and super close to two Metro stations (the 2 and the 3). It was in a non-touristy area which we liked and everything in the area was well priced.We would definitely recommend Maurizio’s apartment, and we would stay there again. Thank you for making our Paris trip, and my sister's 50th b-day one to remember!"

"The three of us (all age 66) had an excellent stay. We spent most of our time there on the deck enjoying the view -- even on cloudy/rainy days. Beds/bedrooms were comfortable. Everything was clean. The inside living area was also comfortable. My sister cooked a nice meal and found the kitchen served her needs just fine. One night we enjoyed the comfortable living room while watching a movie on the big TV. Not too far away (driving) are some nice walking trails. Pilot Mountain State park is an easy day trip and for those who enjoy hiking and great views it is a worthwhile endeavor. Shopping in quaint stores in Mount Airy is another easy day trip. Even better -- some stores very close by are excellent . We especially enjoyed the store named "Calamity Jane's." They had an excellent variety of clothing, outdoor gear, and gifts. The owner's were especially friendly, helpful, and engaging. Speaking of owners, the host of the property was also excellent. Everything went so well during our visit, there weren't really any needs to contact the host, but the little communication we did have was quick, helpful, and pleasant. I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again in the future. "
