As you step inside the recently renovated cabin, you'll find a welcoming living/dining area with a cozy fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a tranquil master bedroom, all on the entry level. A full bath with shower ensures your stay is comfortable. Journey upstairs to the delightful loft, housing twin beds, additional space for an air mattress, and an exciting arcade game for hours of fun.

The cabin's front porch presents awe-inspiring views of the surrounding wilderness, perfect for morning coffees or evening relaxation. Our cabins are meticulously cleaned and maintained, boasting new furnishings and charming mountain decor, including the recent addition of an arcade game.

But that's not all – we're excited to announce the addition of Brand New Starlink WiFi! This cutting-edge technology ensures you stay connected even while you're enveloped in the tranquility of the mountains. Explore the great outdoors with 600 feet of Reed Island Creek flowing through the property. It's an idyllic spot for fishing, swimming, or just unwinding. While we value your privacy, our team is always just a phone call away for any assistance. This cabin is part of a duo, sharing the property with "Black Bear Den" Cabin, available for combined rental.

The host checked in often and supplied a lot of helpful information to make our stay great. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and the setting was very peaceful. It was nice and secluded, yet only a short drive to local attractions. Very easy to check in and out also. Highly recommend!

Great getaway

A Magical Getaway

My family enjoyed this cabin so much. The land was beautiful with the river and a great place for my littles to run in front of the cabin! We will definitely be back in the warmer months so we can fish and swim. It was like our own little hideaway and had everything we needed!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean ahd comfortable. The lighting everywhere except the living room was good. For folks in their seventies and eighties (like my wife and me) brighter light for reading or other close work would help.

Immerse yourself in serene stillness

One fine spring break four friends decide to road trip from Philadelphia through the Shannondoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains found this cabin listed immediately off the Parkway. The pictures were charming and listing checked our needs. Communication with our host was very prompt. Rebecca provided an extensive list of places to visit and where to eat. When we pulled into the drive we marveled at the size of the property with a relaxing creek on the western end. Rebecca’s directions were very clear and concise we knew precisely where to go and how to enter the cabin. Cozy and comfortable - could easily entertain a large family using Mountain Song as a base to explore southern VA. Enjoyed evening and morning from the deck (although two of the chairs should be replaced). You will never have a more quiet nights sleep.

Love It!

I am so glad that this cabin was available for our family vacation. I was also glad that I didn’t have to leave my dogs at home. Everything was very functional and roomy. We all felt like we had our own space and all come together at the same time! Since this was my youngest dog’s first vacation, I was nervous that he wasn’t going to adjust well. He definitely surprised me…. He laid down and seemed very comfortable within minutes of our arrival. I will certainly keep this place in mind for future visits!!

Quiet getaway

Mountain Song Cabin - The Perfect Getaway

Mountain Song Cabin is a beautiful property. Relaxing, great place for kids and pets to play. Our dog had so much fun playing in the creek. The cabin is clean and well stocked, and the host is very responsive to questions and needs. This is our second time staying here and it won't be our last!
