"The apartment is a 7-8 minute walk to the Duomo. Close enough but doesn't get noisy at nights. There are small stores nearby. The two-room apartment is nicer than the online photos show. There is air conditioning in both rooms, and it works; even without it, the apartment is cool enough. Antonella and her husband are very welcoming, and very responsive to questions by text messages. "Nicest property of our trip so far. We were able to cook our own dinner for a lovely in-home evening with watching Netflix and CNN in air conditioning on a 100 degree day after so much activity. To not offer real glasses to drink from just seems so cheap.
