"The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. The parking lots and grounds were unsafe. It's winter time and they should know better. Each time we went to our car we felt we were going to slip and fall. Same with the path from our room to the breakfast area. We came here for a relaxing baby moon and feared for our safety any time we left the room. When we arrived on a Thursday afternoon we were told the parking lots would soon be plowed. We left on a Sunday morning and neither had been touched the whole time we were there. The weather was rainy, then freezing, which makes for dangerous conditions if not treated properly. On one morning the parking lot was such a sheet of ice that we felt unsafe to drive and therefore had to abandon our planned morning activities. Throughout the stay we would see plenty of staff but they would not give an update on the plowing or even acknowledge the conditions of the lots or walkways."

"I had not visited the Ponds for 30 years. It has not gracefully aged. Condo unit has not been updated since it was built in the early 70s and it shows. Drafty and slightly damaged doors, slow drains in the bathrooms, furniture and rugs that show damage and age, and a clubhouse in need of updating. Front desk staff not very friendly or useful, odd because they don’t have a lot of foot traffic this time of the season. There are other similar facilities in the area that might be worth exploring versus this tired old place."

"Gateways Inn is a fantastic place to stay! The staff was very courteous and the room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was included and very tasty. I highly suggest a stay there if you are planning on visiting the Berkshires!!!"

"Such a beautiful house! So comfortable. The kitchen was perfect to gather around in. Kids went skiing at jiminy peak which was so close. Hope to return- maybe when we can use the pool! "

"Our rental experience was exceptional. Our host was amazing and an exceptional communicator. She made everything a breeze from getting in the house to being able to set the thermostat. She left nothing to chance. The house was immaculate, and very welcoming. I was able to rest well after cooking a hot meal for me and my co-workers. I would absolutely rent this home in the future whether I'm in the area for a work project or just looking for a beautiful place to stay with my wife. "
