My family and I had a great time. Canoeing, making s’mores in the fire pit, grilling, and amazing bike rides. We made great memories there that we will never forget!!
My children and parents as well as me loved the place. The owner is very kind and welcoming, caring person. The place was even better to me than on the photos. Very clean, quiet, lovely, roomy RV and super comfortable. We loved cooking on a fire, biking. Haven't got to canoeing part only because did not have enough time during our stay. Really recommending !
We enjoyed our stay here. The host was wonderful. Try to arrive before it's dark, so you can understand the layout of the area. The firepit was great. The area was nestled in a peaceful neighborhood. There is no TV, but there is wi-fi if you would like to stream from a tablet or smart phone. The ground is covered in gravel, so you do not have to worry about mud or dirt. Everything that you need for a relaxing weekend is there. If not, the host was very helpful. He even gave us some butter to fry some eggs that we brought, as well as some bug repellent just in case. There was plenty of firewood for the firepit and an outdoor gas grill. Definitely recommend!
This place was absolutely amazing. Not only was the rv clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need the property is breathtaking. Frank the owner came out to greet us and show us the ropes. What a truly amazing couple him and his wife were. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. My family came out to visit and even they couldn’t believe how amazing this spot was. There’s an outdoor fridge and grill so you don’t want or need for anything. We had the time of our lives laughing and joking around the fire and nobody was on there cell phone… it was a sight to see. Even my 17 year old put his phone down…we will be doing this again very soon. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a way to spend quality time and unplug.
This is a camper with a pop up bed in each side. My husband, our first year college student daughter and I stayed one night there on the family weekend of the University of Rhode Island. The beds are comfortable. Frank let us check out late so we got time to prepare a light breakfast and ate inside the camper. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals. I am particularly pleased that there is an electric pot for hot water.
The camper is parked in a secluded spot of the owner's yard. There are beautiful flowers outside the camper as shown in the picture. Frank set up the fire pit ready for us to use, unfortunately, we came in too late at night to use it. The area is peaceful. I enjoyed a morning walk on the nearby biking trail (one mile away from the camper). Frank is very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a nice one-night stay there.
The owner is such a nice gentleman. He came to greet us when we arrived and gave us a tutorial of the camper. The description and photos of the camper were consistent and accurate. The site itself was super cute. Unfortunately, the area around the site is riddled with old fence debris, rusted old patio table/chairs and wood from the owner’s property (the site sits on the owners property). The camper is on Johnson’s pond but access is to an area that is not suitable for swimming. The pond does not have a public access area and in order for the kids to swim we had to canoe out of the marshy area to the open and clear water. It is super challenging to get kids in/out of a canoe without tipping. The listing states there is access to a rowboat but we only had access to canoes. The bikes on the property are not the bikes shown in the listing. One mountain bike had a bent rim and was unridable. While the listing shows 4 mountain bike there were 3 and one was child’s dirt bike. The outdoor fridge and freezer contained moldy cheese and other food that did not belong to us. The interior fridge/freezer were dirty and also contained food/condiments.
While these things were frustrating and diminished the time we spent at the site, the camper was a great place to sleep and the kids had fun. The campers A/C was amazing and kept everyone comfortable and cool. The owner made us a fire one night. He also afforded us a later check out so we could enjoy some additional coffee time.
