「A haven for those in need of a bit of peace and quiet, close enough to shops, restaurants and pubs if wanted and a short drive to amazing beaches.Alternatively, a fabulous family home for bigger parties. 」

「3 Freundinnen verbrachten eine Woche in diesem Cottage. Wir waren jeden Tag, hauptsächlich zum wandern, unterwegs und haben Abends den gemütlichen Kamin genossen. Als uns das bereitgestellte Holz zur Neige ging, reichte eine Nachricht an die Housekeeperin und sie hat direkt am nächsten Tag Nachschub aus dem Lager geholt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Wahl des Hauses und Donegal im allgemeinen. Sehr schöne Ausflüge in der Umgebung sind möglich und dabei sehr abwechslungsreich! Mit dem Wetter...

「This roomy cottage is just perfect for a getaway at the edge of the world and can comfortably accommodate a large family or a couple of couples and kids. Your hosts Pauline and Hugh are marvellous and are happy to help with suggestions on nearby attractions and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking with towering mountains right next to a proper surf beach. The local sheep make it all so idyllic. We’ll be back soon.」

「Beautiful location overlooking Lough Swillly. Golf course and beach are 2 minutes away. Loved staying at the house with great facilities and really comfortable beds. Liam is a very accommodating host, always available and checking that we had all that we needed. Highly recommended!」

「The house is clean and spacious Comes with everything Stayed during a severe storm which took out the hydro but the owner had someone there to check but it was the local hydro who were quick to fix in the morning Other than that the stay is wonderful Must visit the Rusty Mackerel and the cliffs close by 」

「We are a family of six, four children and myself and husband. This Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely beautiful and I fell in love with how traditional it is. My children had plenty of fun out back in the huge garden. Most evenings we had a fire blazing in the living room. While we played board games and playing cards. This Cottage is close to groceries store and Bundoran is 20 minute drive. Plus there is beautiful beaches to spend a day at. The owners are fantastic and very...

「Beautiful location with direct beach access. Could do with some TLC around the property along with more kitchen utensils, mugs, pans etc. Could only find a couple of towels for 8 people, fortunately we had taken a few with us.」

「We - myself, my adult daughter and her dog - spent a week at the property. It's clean, warm, fully equipped and a great location to 'get away from it all' and explore South Donegal. All in all, everything went well and we had a great time. Highly recommend this property - just be aware that it IS remote (but that's part of the attraction).」

「Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom.」

「Great property! Lovely setting and a wonderful place to stay with beautiful walks right there. We were glad we rented a car to get around. The quiet, peaceful setting is what we wanted though! Very short walk to the beautiful ocean shore below. 」
