Staff are always lovely and food is amazing! I stay here for work as often as possible. Rooms are basic but very clean and pleasant and reasonably priced. Only negative is that the bar closes at 9pm and there are no shops locally that ive found in walking distance which is not the fault of the hotel ...

The room heating/cooling system was not affective. The pillows were uncomfortable and the mattress gave myself and my husband a bad back in the morning. The shower pressure was also terrible. The room was dated.

I would like to say this is almost good 3.75 stars. The room although on appearance good there were a number of issues albeit minor that over the duration of the stay was a let down considering the upgrade we had paid for. The carpet was frayed, cups were dirty a their was only a water glass each ...
