"The staff were incredible. We had a leak in our shower, it was fixed so fast. They were very nice, fun to talk to, and always willing to help. This hotel is an absolute gem in Paris. If you want to stay south of the River Seine stay here. It is close to the Eiffel Tower, as well as cafes, restaurants, pharmacy,...etc. We are already planning our return next year, and we will definitely book the Rayz Eiffel Hotel."

"When I read a review, I discount people’s feelings and illogical statements like: our room in Paris is small or expensive. If you are going to Paris, expect both. Our stay was one week and we are not fussy travelers. What I appreciate is information that is based on facts, and reviews that present the positive along with the negatives. That is what I am going to offer my readers. Let’s start with some positives. The coffee program is top notch with two automated machines that turn out delicious coffee, and the 19 euro breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The location is excellent and walkable and I would like to emphasize my pleasure of having a well appointed in-room kitchenette; this gave us some autonomy from eating out every meal. Now the negatives along with pictures to make this a factual assessment. While the lobby is bright, clean, and well maintained, the rooms and other areas are not. Our room had what looked like a bleach spill on carpeting that is long overdue for replacement, and unsightly trim. The walls were marred and needed paint. The gym was tiny, equipment was out of commission, and had been for quite some time based on previous reviews. The staircase pics are embarrassing. The management and ownership shoulder the blame. Walk your property and make repairs! Sample your rooms for condition. Cleaning and paint are not capital expenditures, it’s maintenance. At best, you are a 3-star facility. You can do better and you should."

"Quite cute and whimsy place in a fantastic area for exploring Paris. Room was clean when we arrived, but no additional room service for 5 nights, including no fresh towel and no trash bag for kitchen or bathroom, definetly beyond comfort. We used nespresso maker and water kettle only, but could have warmed up small meals with the dishes available in the kitchen, including a true freezer. The shower is not really functional for anyone less mobile than „excellent „ since entry is over the toilet with less clearance than a size 6 foot. No grab bar to allow the free climb into and out of the shower to become more secure. The windows open in a courtyard, very nice for quietness, no traffic. It is one of the smoker designated areas and we woke up several times from cigarette smoke in our room. Last but most important, there is not functional connectivity in the room. A table of possibly available networks is on display, but most were not available in our room, or the provided PW didn’t work, or connection kept dropping out. With T-mobile connectivity abroad we also could not get sufficient data to upload a document or even make a TGV reservation on 3/5 nights. When I called, a very friendly but exasperated employee brought another table of wlans and passwords and we were able to connect more often for long enough to finish booking the rest of our journey."

"This is a fairly good alternative for a single or couple who doesn’t look for luxury. It is a bare bones property. The pros: it’s in a location with two useful Metro lines close by, and is on a fairly inactive short street between two busy neighborhoods. There are ample bistros and restaurants with real Parisians rather than tourists. The cons: the ad implies that they speak English, but I had to rely on my high school French; the housekeeping is poor, only coming after you return from a day of sightseeing, then only making the bed but never changing the sheets; the breakfast is mid, and served in a tiny room that becomes claustrophobic with several guests eating at once. For a lower priced property it’s fine. For tourists who want a level of service and luxury, they might be disappointed."
