"A lovely hotel with very helpful, friendly staff. The food in the bar was excellent with good service. Easy walking distance to a good range of shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely relaxing spa facilities after a day out walking. Good central location for walkers. Accomodation was comfortable and clean. Would give it a higher rating than 3 star. Would definitely recommend to family and friends."

"We have just returned from a 2 night stay, the whole experience was wonderful.From being warmly welcomed on arrival, shown to our gorgeous room, provided with numerous extra little touches and obviously the mouth watering breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble, the attention to detail, both in the room and in the communal areas was second to none. The hosts were brilliant,pointing us in the right direction for places to visit,suggestions where to eat and generally to have a good chat putting the world to rights. We will be back."
