"Although it’s a beautifully renovated building in the residential part of the old town of Velez-Málaga, the photos are somewhat misleading. Pool is a jacuzzi that is no longer functioning. Ground floor rooms are dark, with no views and portable air conditioning units. There was no wifi in our room—only in the common areas. Parking can be difficult."

"5 minutes walk to the beach front. Service was very friendly and helpful. We try to speak a little Spanish but they helped us out in English when necessary! Rooms were cleaned on the one full day we were there. Breakfast was simple but set us up for the day. We shall return if we're back in the area."

"Juana and Olivier couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, and they were there whenever we needed help. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable as were the bathrooms and large kitchen with everything you would need. The whole pool area is full of beautiful plants and very welcoming. We really enjoyed being part of the Velez Malaga village. Don't miss Casa Domi for lunch or dinner. It's only 2 doors down and has fabulous food."
