"Wonderful facility and stay."

"Located on the campus of Washington University right next to Forest Park. It is centrally located. We were lucky enough to sail on the fifth floor. I do have laundry facilities upstairs as well as a coffee, tea refrigerator microwave area not sure if that’s on every floor, but it was on the fifth rooms were very nice bathroom very clean spacious staff was wonderful to deal with. They have a breakfast they offered. It’s $11 per person and it was quite tasty. Did not partake in dinner, but it appears that you bar restaurant was always busy in the evening. My only complaint was the bad it was way too firm for me and my wife. We are used to phone memory foam mattresses and these were way too Steve so we had sore back each morning and we woke up which was a shame because we really enjoyed staying there."

"The breakfast is great. The staff are friendly . When checking out, a person Cleaning was over the top. actually helped us out with our bags and packed them in the car for us and did not expect a tip. The only disappointment was that the pool was supposed to be up and running and wasn’t and they did not offer a discount."

"Parking is free but scary. Unable to locate handicapped parking. There is parking front and valet parking seems like employees useing. It's time to check i I received the Redd Fox suit. . It was a nice corner room with nice view but when entering the suite, It was a bad odor coming from the sitting area.iI advised the front desk unable to change suite because was sold out. Due to alot events going around the weekend especially proms. No chance seeking another hotel. We decided to stay. I needed the room because my daughter is autistic. Their were a dark shaggy and L shape sofa which need updated. Sofa had stains and looked worn. I tried to turn over cushion, but with butt was full of hair I decided to take the blanket from the bed and cover the sofa and roll up the rug because I was scared to walk on it, which I believe where the smells came from. I did walk over to the Cvs which was across the street and purchased some Lysol and to spray the room.. hotel in area which not to dar away from downtown and rooftop nice"

"The parking was terrible. They charged us $10 for parking when we told them we had a car, yet didn't provide us with a parking space. There was a wedding and there was no place to park. The AC unit was so loud in the room that I woke up every time it kicked on thinking it was a truck going up a hill. The bed was also squeaky. AND NO REFRIDGERATOR IN THE ROOM. I stay in $400-$500 a night hotels frequently and they've all figured out people was a fridge in the room. I've been intrigued by the Cheshire for years and have had it on my list of STL places to stay. IM OVER IT. I wont be back."

"The hotel (Forest Park Hotel) is owned and operated by a very rude young lady. The first room we stayed in (114) has no working air conditioning. They moved us to another room (208) which had bed bugs. The overnight front desk attendant with the hat was always on bs. I recommend saving your money and finding another suitable hotel. "
